Speedy Garage Lausanne

I just returned form my winter vacation in Austria and the Geneve Auto Salon. Before visiting the Salon we spend the night in Lausanne and visited “Spyker of Switserland” in Lausanne. The visit took place friday March 6.

The first Spyker we saw, just behind the main entrance, was a Koga-Miyata Spyker bike . A very friendly employee of Speedy showed us all Spykers present. Speedy Garage has a wide variety of cars on stock, Wiesmann, Aston Martin, Lotus, Ferrari and more.

This Spyker dealer had, during our visit, six Spykers on show/for sale. Downstairs there was a C8 Spyder GT2R and a C8 Laviolette Basic Instinct limited edition. The Speedy employee told us that the Basic Instinct Laviolette had been sold just before the opening of the Auto Salon. On the second floor we found 3 C8 spyders and a C8 Double12S.

Thanks for finding the VIN of the race car Stephan. Do you also have a VIN suggestion for this C8 Spyder? The dails in the dash are silver...I have only seen that in very early models....so the vin is problably <#035.

The car has indeed a "wide-body" nose but also an air intake above the engine...I think this car was originally produced with a nose without the Louvre’s.

This car also has silver dials..the only car I know to have silver dials is #001…..
