    Race after 3 hours report

The #85 Spyker, with Alexei Vasiliev at the wheel at the moment is still in 5th position, some 30 seconds behind the Ferrari #99 in 4th position. Alexei producing similar laptimes as Ben Aucott in the before mentioned Ferrari. There is a possibility that the #85 Spyker will catch the #99 Ferrari with the quicker Ralf Kelleners and Tom Coronel still to drive the car and with Ben Auccot at least in for one stint in the Ferrari. And than there are at least 2 pitstops to go for either team in which the Squadron crew can gain 10 seconds a stop, as seen in the last stops! It seems the top 3 is to far ahead I'm afraid...
The #94 has worked it's way up to within 15 seconds of the Aston Martin #93 but has just been given a 3 minute stop and go penalty. It is now in 10th position. The drivers did find the pace, setting a fastest laptime of 1:53,646 as against 1:53,442 for the #85 Spyker. Very competitive!

A long pitstop for the #90 Ferrari means that the #85 Spyker has now passed it and is currently in 4th position!

It's busy in the pits! #85 in the pits, Ralf taking over from Alexei. Because of this pitstop, the #85 Spyker loses a place to the #90 Ferrari. Ferrari #99 also in the pits now, Ben Aucott still at the wheel. The Snoras Spyker Squadron crew worked their miracles again: 11 seconds faster. The #85 Spyker now only 13 seconds behind the #99 Ferrari.
        Go get him Ralf!

He's done it! Ralf in the #85 Spyker past the #99 Ferrari with Ben Auccot at the wheel. The #85 Spyker now in 4th position!

              Race after 4 hours report

With 59 laps to go it seems we will hit the 1000 kms. mark before the 6 hour mark.
Ralf in the #85 Spyker is still in 4th position, trying to take as much from Ben Aucott in the #99 Ferrari in 5th. It will be very close, in the next stints the fast Stephane Daoudi will take over from Ben Aucott. But we will have Tom Coronel. Bring it on!
Benjamin in the #94 Spyker is in 9th position, two laps down due to the 3 minute stop and go penalty, on the Aston Martin #93. They are too far behind to gain positions on speed alone but if one of the cars hits trouble the #94 will gain a position and score a point!

Ralf Kelleners putting some good consistant laps in in the #85 Spyker currently still in 4th position. The gap to the #90 Ferrari in 3rd place is now being 25 seconds. Ralf is gaining a few tenths a lap but it will probably not be enough. Both cars will probably have to make one pitstop, maybe some extra seconds can be won there!
Meanwhile the #99 Ferrari hit trouble and that means that the #94 Spyker is now in 8th position!

Let's hope that the #85 Spyker will be 3rd, just like last year

The gap is still only 7 seconds?

Both the #90 Ferrari and the #85 in the pits simultaneously. And the excellent Spyker Squdron pit crew again did a hell of a job: 15 seconds quicker than the Farnbacher crew on the #90 Ferrari. Tom Coronel now at the wheel, only 6 seconds behind. What an exciting race this has been so far. Can the Snoras Spyker Squadron score a podium in the last Le Mans Series race of this year?

Tom really on it now, setting fastest lap for the #85 Spyker, but Pierre Kaffer in the #90 Ferrari is just too quick. Almost a second a lap faster, the gap now being 12 seconds...

                              Race after 5 hours report

With 25 laps to go the #85 Spyker, with Tom Coronel at the wheel at the moment, is still in 4th position. Unfortunately Tom is not able to close the gap to the Ferrari #90 in 3rd place. It seems 4th position is the best possible result right now. The #94 Spyker, who was running into bad luck early in the race and got a long penalty later in the race, is going well in the moment and running in 8th position. Because the before mentioned problems they are too far behind to gain a further position.
It looks like both the Spykers are going to finish the race while both scoring points!
