9th place! The two Corvettes and the 2nd Risi Competizione Ferrari retired. (If 6 cars drop out, we're on the podium! )

Had a flat left rear tyre, it's replaced now and we're back on track.

It is amazing already 9 cars dropped out this year in the GT2 class.

... what can we do if they just fall apart in less than 24 hours?

Jeroen will come in this lap and hand over the steering wheel for the final stint.

They did it! 9th place in a truly gruelling race (especially difficult for Spyker) is an achievement to drink to! Cheers to the Squadron!

                              1. Porsche
                              2. Ferrari
                              3. Porsche
                              ..
                              9. Spyker

Too bad we had two major problems (accident plus gearbox) which costed us the race. But for the rest it looked like the Spyker raced a pretty good race. I really like how late the Spyker can brake. Far better than the competition. Nice race guys!

I really want to visit Le Mans next year! Hope more of us will join me

I'll join you if I can! I'm so glad Spyker was 'only' 117 laps behind the #1! Rules state you have to have completed at least 70% of the winner's laps, in this case that would amount to 119. So we only just made it, Drayson, the team that came in very last, wont.

By the way: Would this have been the C8 Laviolette GT2R's final race at Le Mans?
