  • Drive to Yamanaka Lake

Took my GranSport to a drive with other Maseratis (and a Fiat!) to Yamanaka Lake near Mt Fuji.

    Hope you enjoy the photos

Great shots. Thanks for sharing them. The red 4porte IV reminds me of the fact that I almost bought a 4porte V8 last year (but ended up buying my Alfa).

It was gorgeous, rosso indianapolis (first time I ever saw a car in that colour).

After we met up, the QP was at the head of the pack and it just blasted out, I had to get the throttle well pressed to stay with him and one of the guys after the run was a bit upset as he is on his last single point on his license and was afraid of getting busted (yeah, he's a woose !)

            BF,
It looks like you've had a great time. I did not know that you could get that many Maseratis together in Japan.

              Yep, it was fun

We have a decent number of cars, though Maserati has not historically been a popular marque here in Japan (blame the dodgy Biturbos!) though it is now the 5th or 6th biggest market for Maserati, particularly thanks to the recent QP.

The Maserati Club here is fairly active and we tend to have monthly meets or so.

Cool meet! Very nice location and great cars that attended I'm not sure of the rosso, but that generation 4porte is my favourite

Why not tag along to these monthly Euro-cars meets?

I like the part of the video when you are behind the extremely cool 3200. Still don't understand why the Punto was in your midst.

The Punto owner also owns a Barchetta, which he was supposed to drive with. However, unexpectedly the local DVLA didn't give him the temporary plates he had requested so he showed up in the Fiat.

                              BF,

What kind of mirror do you have in your car? That does not look stock.
