LMS testday - HTTT Paul Ricard 8 and 9 March 2009

The official Le Mans Series test where all the teams can test if the hard work of the winter paid off.

The Spyker Squadron is there with Jeroen Bleekemolen and Jarek Janis.

According to Jeroen Bleekemolen the goal of the test is (in Dutch):

Quote:

About yesterday's afternoon session:

Quote:
Team Felbermayr Proton’s Porsche 997 GT3 RSR was the fastest in GT2. The 2009 Porsche beat the Hankook Farnbacher Racing Ferrari by just two tenths of a second. Snoras Spyker Squadron impressed with an amazing third fastest lap time. Despite a small setback when the Spyker C8 Laviolette GT2R came to a halt on the middle of the track (causing a red flag), Jeroen Bleekemolen really pushed the car and set a lap time that was just over three tenths slower than the fastest Porsche time and which, considering the ‘non-compliant’ Farnbacher car, put them in front of all Ferrari’s.

I also hope that there will a report on the Spyker Squadron website. But a thirth place is very good! Especialy becasue there we some cars running in 2008 spec.
