If these refrigerator magnets had really been manufactured by Spyker, they would cost $4,990, not $4.99!

But, they would be worth at least $9,980 in 30 years, while the Chinese version would only be worth $4.99

But poses an interesting question...how much will our cars be worth 10, 20 or 30 years from now?

First car in many years that I've considered keeping longer than 6-9 months

I am just guessing:

10 years: 50% of new value (not $, compare to a house or an average car)
20 years: 25%
30 years: 100%
40 years: 500%
50 years: 400%
60 years: 300%

The reason for that is, that the boys of today will have lots of money in 30 years, and the classic car status is starting at around then... See also some of the early Ferraris.

What would be your guess????
