Yes, but you cannot reach your cupholder, while belted in

Yes, but I think only in height (?)

Did anyone of you notice that Victor says the following at the introduction of the C8 Aileron:

The body is build up with beautiful handcrafted aluminium panels, made by CPP in the UK.
I thought the new bodies would be build at Karmann? Or are only the first examples build at CPP (Coventry Prototype Panels) and will production switch later to Karmann?

I know Spyker did this with the first generation C8. I am curious because I think the production capacity of CPP is much smaller than the capacity of Karmann.

                      Does anybody know more?

I did hear that as well, but did not think anything of it at the time. You are right, there is a difference in capacity between the two companies, plus I am assuming that Karmann is able to apply a more mass-production style than CPP is.

But I don't know anything more, sorry

I once heard that the CPP panels are real handwork. For example a door from one CPP Spyker will not fit in another CPP Spyker. It's a bit different with Karmann bodypanels, these are inter-changeable. The Karmann bodypanels are much cheaper so I think the bodyparts for the Aileron will eventually be provided by Karmann. By the way: I read somewhere that the Karmann bodypanels are also made in England...

Yes I know but I read somewhere that Karmann has the panels made for them in England by another company. If that's true it would be better if Spyker was able to find that company and made a deal with them and not getting Karmann involved. That would be cheaper!
