Within a few days I can pin down the date. There are some conflicts with their racing dates.

              no problem

...this is no problem, we can combine a racing experience with a factory visit. Spa would not even be that far away!

Perhaps a stupid question, but we will still be visiting the Zeewolde plant right? Because a poor student's budget isn't quite flexible enough for a trip to Coventry :

We are trying to narrow it down to 7 or 10 May (Not April) in Zeewolde in the afternoon, with a dinner in the evening.

For the actual Spyker Owners we are trying to set up something extra: please see the owners part of the site.

Both sentences have the word trying in there. As soon as I know more i will post it here.

We (Pterps and myself) will be in Italy for a holiday and the Mille miglia with a group of Ferrari's.

Loads of fun, but unfortunately we will not be able to join you lot the 7th or the 10th.

Victor Muller to drive Saab 93 in Mille Miglia

                                You won't be alone!

The celebrated Mille Miglia (1000 miles) historic rally will have a particularly Saaby flavour this year, with at least one and quite possibly two entries featuring Saab corporate drivers.
Victor Muller will be driving the Saab 93, below, with his son and it's understood Jan-Ake Jonsson will also drive an entry, though the vehicle for that entry has not been finalised as yet.

The Saab 93 being driven by Victor Muller is one of the cars from the Saab Museum. I (SWade of Saabs United ) managed to get some photos of it yesterday, whihc was timely as it was being shipped out today in preparation for display at the Geneva Motor Show in just over a week's time. After that, it will undergo final preparations for the Mille Miglia, which is on in May 2010.

Since 1977, the Mille Miglia has been run as an historic event, fesaturing only vehicles of note and pedigree that were built pre-1957.

SWade has been invited by Victor Muller to Stockhom for the signing. A lucky man but his site has been truely instrumental in saving Saab from being closed by GM.
