The first car shown in pic 12 is VIN #036. Also, it appears that #036 has displayed several different license plates.

Pic 20 is VIN #154. It appears that this car has been all over the world, including the United States. Notice the US mailbox in the background and the license plate is a dealer plate in Kentucky.

... I collected what I call my "Spyker picture dump" with around 17,000 photos of Spykers, 3.8 GB. I know other members of this forum do that, too. This includes www.spykerowner.com and may contain duplicates. It does not include any of #045 which are not publicly in the Internet. I started sorting just C8 Spyders according to identifyable number plates at the moment. If anyone has a better idea, like a Spyker photo wiki, I would be happy to provide the lot there. Eliminating duplicates is not easy! That also means, finding out if a photo is new can be a bit of a headake...

              I think you're right, here's a connection between Texas and #117: http://flickrhivemind.net/Tags/xl9aa...17/Interesting

154 sure fits this car and seems to be the only one we know of that does but I guess this one could as well be an unknown? But maybe I missed something so if you have evidence please enlighten me ;-)

                Way to go Scott Holmes!

Picture number 12, I agree on as that's no doubt 036. I am glad you are reconsidering picture number 13 as that one is indeed not 026. Great clue from IVR007 that Beerens was the official Spyker representative for Belgium at the time. You have all the info now you need to identify this one!

On the Karmann bodied Silver / Ruby Spyders: I did not know there were that many, you sure started a trend amzamz!

Will try to follow up on these ones as best as I can but it will be difficult as later cars are much more similar specced out than the earlier ones where almost every car was altered and improved over the previous one.

Some thoughts on the Silver Spyders:

Number 15: License plate: 5VYP051 - Champion Silver / Ruby Red - Not sure how a soft top is folded but from the back you can see it's red. Does that mean the outside is red or is that the inside? - Participated in some kind of a rallye (as the stickers might suggest)?
                http://www.exoticspotter.com/spyker-...lifornia-11226 - Irvine California

Number 16: License plate: 6JFU185 - Champion Silver / Ruby Red - http://www.exoticspotter.com/spyker-...ifornia-138409 - La Jolla it says in the link, which could indicate the car has some Symbolic (used to be a Spyker dealer) connection?
http://www.exoticspotter.com/spyker-...lifornia-48203 - Spotted in La Jolla
http://www.exoticspotter.com/spyker-...lifornia-46522 - another picture of the same spot
                http://www.exoticspotter.com/spyker-...ifornia-159626 - La Jolla

Number 17: Identified by Scott as #117

Number 18: License plate: M13333 - Champion Silver / Ruby Red - We need some one with eagle eye viseon because there is a badge on the side, just in front of the rear wheels, with the last three digits of the VIN just beneath the C8 Spyder badge...
Some possible candidates for this color combination: 094 and 114. But both don't have the VIN badges on the sides (at least not on the pics we have).

Number 19: License plate: ZKR-59H - Champion Silver - Do you have better pics of this one amzamz or a link?

Number 20: Identified by Scott as #154

Number 21: License plate: NY plate? - Champion Silver / Ruby Red - Red soft top? - Left rear panel doesn't seem to match the color of the other panels?

Number 22: Identified by Scott as #212

Number 23: Champion Silver / Indigo Blue - Cars and Coffee Austin More pics:

                http://motoristablog.com/2014/02/09/...bruary-9-2014/
Possible suspects: 096 and 117 - Both have Texas history; 096 got Supercharged in Houston and 117 was for sale once at Spyker of Austin.

                    Hi Stephan,

In addition to the license in Pic 20 appearing like a dealer license plate in Kentucky, the following analysis may help us with this one:

The below pic on the Forum is identified as #154 in Stuttgart and is dated November 7, 2009. Note the small sign on the wall in the background of the pic.

                    http://www.spykerowner.com/forum/att...0&d=1247319266

The following pic was shown in an advertisement at the Spyker dealer in Kentucky and is identical to the pic on the forum. The advertisement is dated July 20, 2010, and states, "Incoming Inventory". Note the same sign on the wall in the background of the pic.

Incoming Inventory.........contact us for more information!

With the above data and since comments on the Forum indicate that #154 has been all over the world and comments on the Forum also said that CarFax has identified #154 in the US, Pic 20 that AMZAMZ posted appears to be #154.

... I guess the thread should be renamed into "Scott Triplitt & Stephan Hoekstra, please tell us the VIN #" Great help, so far, but still a few open questions... I agree the Karmann bodies are almost impossible. For me it is hopeless to even try.

Please let me know if you're still working on the missing silver ones... and give me a clue how to go on. Easier would be to take the brightly colored Spykers, even Rijk would recognise one :lol::lol:, and much more tricky to have a look at the black/dark colored ones.

... I could provide more pics with number plates 5VYP051 and 6JFU185, but I am afraid the others are one-off.

Hi amzamz, still working on the silver ones but feel free to add others already! Just post the ones you like, preferrably in batches as you are doing now, that works best I think.

You can add them here as far as I'm concerned or in this existing thread called picture dump

No problem amzamz, we might find more pics of the one-offs later.

                                For now I give the silver C8's a rest and leave number 16, 18, 19, 21 and 23 open.

I put them in the needing VIN thread (which seems to have lost the links, will see if I can fix it later)
