trick for closing doors

Did anyone try this one:

1) take a spyker C8 spyder with both doors open
2) start engine
3) have a full start in gear one

---> apparently the doors will close properly

This will get rid of the persistent rattle in the door

No! With all the (usual) onlookers, I would feel like a fool! I would need a secluded place to try... and what if there is a damage to the doors, e.g. when I need to stop with the doors still open?
