  • Shower Cap

The Lotus Elise had a nice after-market option: the so-called shower cap.

It was a simple plastic cover that you could hook up on the side mirrors and span over the open top in seconds. Now that I'm driving around topless, I am in need of something like that.

I'm going to design something like that and talk to Victor and see if he wants to produce it. It should be standard with all Spyker C8 cars.

The car comes with a cover, but it's not really water proof, and it looks silly if you park your car for a moment in iffy weather. I had the Spyker in a car show, and there were some short showers. Having a shower cap would have been ideal.

count me in for one. The material used for the "tie-downs" is key to ensure things don't get scraped up. I used the one for my elise all the time. Even in the garage to make sure garbage wouldn't end up in the driving compartment. Great idea.

Victor said that the shower cap for the Spyker C8 is a great idea and will soon get a prototype together.

It should have a huge Spyker logo printed on top.

The way bugatti (or actually volkswagen, whatever you like) solved this problem for the new bugatti veyron targa is pretty ingenious to: the car comes with a glass roof panel , but there is nowhere to store it in your car. In case it does starts raining and you don't have the glass roof on, you can use a kind of umbrella that functions as a roof

haha that's true, and I think this is impossible for the spyker because it wouldn't be big enough. And the style-thing is important for a spyker to
