    • Along those lines, any chance anyone knows how many Basic Instinct 2 replicas were actually built? I think we have found only a few.

          I think that's quite optimistic...

Laviolette's used in the Basic Instinct II movie (not confirmed) - as far as I know four were used for this movie, two complete ones and two rolling chassis: #011, #015, #050 and one yet to identify.

Laviolette's Basic Instinct II Limited Edition - as far as I know so there could be (many) more: #060, #100, #123, #128, #167, #170 and #201

That info comes from a Swedish article, which was written in collaboration with Sandervd. Quote: 'Nästan alla 24 bilar är tillverkade. Arbete återstår bara på två exemplar'. Which means: Almost all 24 cars have been built. Work still lies ahead on two cars/copies.

Ha! I just remembered the D8 mule has a Dutch plate: 48-JFD-1. Can you check the VIN, Evandaalen? Thanks.

                  • My son said he saw the same car in Bergen County just a couple days ago. Any idea who it belongs to?

                      • Wouter posted some similar photo's of the silver one. I don't think this very early C8 (non wide body) is an ex-race car (they have different interiors), but a rebuild / repaint.

                              • I can't recall we have a Spyker on Luxemburg plates. And it looks like the owner really uses it (same colour as amzamz' alloys )

Do we know which VIN this is?
