With the single wheel nut you need an 1" torque wrench that can do 450+LB/F. New these are about $2000. Used, you can get them for $500-700, but you never know if they are correctly calibrated.
I've been reading about the 1" torque multiplier, which will triple the force applied, so you don't need the huge arms to apply the correct force. They cost about $250. Does anybody know if and how they work?
