I don't agree about the Spyker being #239 but I do agree about your friend Here's an overview of all known LM85's and the one you took a photograph of is probably one that was delivered to the US, most likely #233.

Whoops, indeed, you're most likely correct. I didn't realize the LM85s were all spec'ed with the same colors inside and out. Since this one didn't have it's dedication plate and that matches up with the description of #233 (plus the fact it was delivered to a dealer in SoCal) - makes it nearly 100% that's the one.

Anything is possible!! Worth trying in case there is a collector somewhere with a space for a no miles LM looking car...

It is because the LM85 is a limited edition, hence the higher asking price.

image_18968.jpegimage_18969.jpeg Very proud of being able to service the community!

The #239 under going some annual maintenance and some tidying up of the engine bay.

Question for Jasper. So I gather that you open the Laviolette clamshell by removing the rear glass, and after that it is the normal procedure, only more difficult? But how do you take out the rear glass? From the side windows?

IIRC they have a couple of Allen/hex key-type bolts on the outside of the glass panel.

Correct, just a few Allen bolts and off she glass comes.
