As Rijk said two cars are heading back from Brazil. However, I thought the last GT race was held at Zolder on October 10th. I'm sure I need to catch up on this subject.
In the meantime they were rebuilding a couple of 2006 cars and if I'm correct they're going to be sold. I'm not sure if they are sold to private racing teams or private customers.
As Rijk said, the engine development programme is impressive!
What I also liked was that each car has three led lights on the outside of the drivers door which can indicate the position of the car (1st is one light lit, 2nd is two lights lit and 3rd is 3 lights lit). If I have misunderstood this, than maybe Rijk can correct me.______

The last race of the season was in Sao Paulo on 10 & 11 november. And the factory car (#85) finished fourth in class.
The last news from Spyker that I can find about the Squadron is form the Q3 Trading Update.
For 2008 Spyker GT2 is investigating a possible full entry into the American LMS (ALMS) championship provided adequate sponsoring is secured. Moreover Spyker Cars N.V. is discussing interest shown by a number of teams currently participating in the ALMS to race with Spyker GT2 cars for the coming season.

Speedy Racing
Read some rather confusing / concerning news today: ...Lola has also agreed to supply an LMP2-spec version of the design - dubbed B08/80 - to the Speedy-Sebah Racing team... I thought Speedy Racing was confirmed to race a Spyker again in 2008. I hope this means they will do both programs and that it doesn't mean that they won't run a Spyker in 2008.Winning on sunday, selling on monday!

No Convers Spyker Squadron?
Source: Planetlemans.com: On Monday Reiter Engineering confirmed their plans and announced that they will indeed enter a Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT in the FIA GT Championship, the Le Mans Series and that they are also hoping for an entry for the Le Mans 24 Hours in June.
Reiter Engineering has secured the financial backing of a Russian bank which enables the team to compete in all races for the next three seasons.
The complete driver line-up for the series have not been announced yet, but it is possible that Peter Kox will be joined by Alexey Vasiliev in the Le Mans Series as the Russian driver has been part of the Convers Racing Team for the last couple of years and partnered Peter Kox in the Convers Menx Ferrari 550 Maranello in the 2006 Le Mans Series season. For the FIA GT Championship there is also a possibility that Reiter’s 2007 line-up of Kox and Menten will be retained.
More news about the final line-up when available…
UPDATE: No Alexey Vasiliev behind the wheel of the Lamborghini, instead Roman Rusinov will partner Peter Kox in the Le Mans Series this season.
Very strange: Convers Bank is the mothercompany of the Snoras Bank of Vilnius, Lithuania which refinances Spykercars. I thought, but maybe this was wishfull thinking, that since Convers was very Motorsport minded that they were going to sponsor Spyker Squadron and their new Spyker C8 Laviolette GT2R.
Makes no sence to me to sponsor another team if the team of the factory you helped refinance is in need of a major sponsor!
I hope someone on this thread has (or can get) more information about Spyker Squadron and their 2008 Racing future!!Winning on sunday, selling on monday!
