In addition to the Sports and Touring pack it also has the Track pack of the Exige S with the adjustable suspension, traction control and wider front tires.

It will stay upstate for a few months to get its mods, and then will be shipped to Holland to replace the S2000.

There has been a wonderful series in Octane Magazine's rally supplement the last few months with the most intimate specifics of the Lotus' track capabilities, including why we so frequently spin them.

Very funny, but I need a plate that begins with CD

Right now I've reserved CD 111SC.

I love the US insurance companies (this aspect only, though). They will not let anybody under 25 years old drive the car (until their frontal lobes are completely developed). My son, who will be 16 next year has accepted this as a fact of life

For the same reason, my wife has vetoed the idea that our son Max will get the S2000 when it returns to the US next year

The car is still at the Lotus dealer in Texas.

Delivery will be in the week of December 21st, just when I'm back from my last Europe trip for the year 2009.

It gives you something to look forward to..... I would love to hear your driving impressions after a little seat time.
