Oops, wrong calculator: £240K = $315K.

That is high. Actual sales price might be lower...

Ah, the VAT. Are they keeping that after the Brexit

£200K equals $260K. More in line with the US pricing. US sales tax is 6-8% additional...

You guys are so lucky in the US.

There are several reasons why I can't buy a new C8 Spyder .

But if I was able to buy and register a brand new one in NL, there would be a price tag of 200k (without options), + 42k VAT + 81k CO² tax

Register it in Idaho and there's no sales tax. I know of many a high end collection here in NJ with Idaho registered cars...
