    Isn't it just a fitting for the radio on the dashboard?

      Front airinlet? Of indeed something for the radio. But who needs a radio anyway

        Ok. almost everyone thinks it has something to do with my radio. indeed!
        .... and indeed I don't need a radio but when I bought my C8 Spyder there was already build in a radio/dvd/Ipod/genesis/....

        Two things I did not like;

        First the angle of the radio. The radio has an LCD screen with touch-screen but the angle of the dashbord on the right side is wrong. I can't see or touch the screen in this angle.

        secondly, I did not like the black plastic frame of the radio. Too many black on the aluminum dashboard.

        I then considered what specific Spykerparts came back in the car. Those were the propelors and airintake cylinders. I could not use these for a frame for the radio. I then copied the front of the C8 and removed (under the same angle as the left side of the dash) the backend of the frame.

        This allows the driver so see and use the LCD screen and I also have more room for the radio to bring it to the back so the black color looks less strong.

        I think it became pretty but on photos is not so good to see. On the next factory visit some of you can see if you like it or think; "that Dutchdude guy is crazy"!

            @ Dutchdude

            I must say I really like the idea of the frame... very original!

            Looks good as well

            But I couldn't really tell which dvd is shown

                So I guess my answer wasn't so wrong after all

                I was that it was the front airinlet and I mentioned the radio

                  I could recognise the front in your picture, but I just had no idea what it could be :-)

                  Nice solution indeed.
