The Barrett Jackson auction is a lot of hype over overpriced US muscle cars.
Sometimes two buyers get into a pissing contest and try to outbid each other. Their egos get in the way, and they are paying ridiculous prices.
Caroll Shelby's personal Cobra, which is worth $500K, maybe $600K, because it was his personal car, went for $5MM, because neither buyer wanted to give up

To an extent I agree, but there's still some cool stuff out there every year and I don't know if you've ever been to it, but it's quite the spectacle. The scale of it compared to the other valley auctions is on a whole nother level. Though, that also has it's downsides.
So is one of these 2 cars #148, that Dan told us he received for the Auctions? Are these factory demonstrators? Press cars like Rijk's 107? I'm asking because I can see the cars are (apparently) standing on the Park Place stand. And they themselves have #128 on sale, but it is not at the show?
