This one we did see at the first factory visit, almost ready for delivery at that time. Still for Sale at Park Place.

This is the first time I've ever seen a picture of a Laviolette with the rear clamshell open. I always wondered how access to the engine was obtained; didn't realize the rear window was all connected!

How do you open the rear clamshell to access the engine????? I just got my C8 Laviolette and have no idea how to open the engine bay???? Please help!!!

You can find a download in the owner section. To actually open the rear clamshell is really involved. We have never opened a Laviolette, so I don't know how to open the rear glass. The clamshell is all about disconnecting hoses, air box and fuel hose. Main bolts and safety bolts are a reach. But after some practice, it takes us less than half an hour to open the rear clam shell.

If you just want access to the engine to fill up the oil etc. you can also take out the rear window
