Out of the collection, some more pics of #043, when it was doing a London-Monte Carlo rally (can't seem to find out which one, actually).

I love the colours on this one, especially the interior colour. On the 'Kyter' shot, it is just phenomenal.

Funny to see the 'strips' on top of front screen, side windows and behind the headrests. Is this a mandatory setup for the soft top??????

I have seen these 'strips' before. Spyker tested this softtop solution but as far as I know it never made it on to other production cars.

I have seen others with this soft top (-frame) at the factory. The black/green RIO car also has the same softtop.

Very labour intensive and expensive to make as each (normal/smooth/early-body)car has different dimensions.
All Karmann (wide-body) car have the same dimensions and have the fold down softtop. (different tops of the A-pillar as well)

@Jeffrey, what kind of soft top do you have? Or don't you have one?

#007 only has the hardtop.

There was a choice of a hard top OR softtop.
As all (pre-Karmann) cars were different, #007's hardtop will only fit #007.
